Mason Jar Lamp
Supplies:
- Smooth-sided jar
- Decorative craft tape/ “Washi” tape (found in the paper crafts section of your local arts and crafts store)
- Electric Tea Light
- Ribbon
Instructions:
- Wrap jar with tape in pattern of your choice
- Put electric tea light in the jar
- Embellish with ribbon as desired
Picture Frame Message Board
Supplies:
- Picture frame with glass front
- Notebook Paper
- Ribbon (optional)
Instructions:
- Remove any matting or inserts from picture frame
- Cut notebook paper to size of frame, and put in frame behind glass
- Decorate as desired with ribbon or paint
“Home is where the heart is” String Art
Supplies:
- 1- 12×12 sheet of wood
- Paint
- Hammer and nails
- Ball of Twine
Instructions:
- Paint wood desired color, and let dry completely
- Trace shape onto the top of the wood
- Tap in nails 1-2 cm. apart around outline. Be sure to leave about an inch sticking out!
- Hammer nails in the shape of a heart in the location of your home.
- Run string back and forth from the heart to the outline of the state, and tie off at the end.
