The Rome News Tribune reported that the carcass is being sent to the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study at the University of Georgia to determine if there was any neurological abnormality with the eaglet.
The bald eagles first appeared on campus in 2012 according to the Berry College website.
